I upload digital art videos to YouTube, and I'm looking to start on some Art History content, too.
I also do livestreams on TwitchTV, so make sure you follow and subscribe so that you can come join in next time I go live!
Curious about any of this?
Check out my social media, send me a message, or reach out to me some other way (email is preferable, a stalker letter would be impressive, DM sliding is allowed).
Head on over to my Patreon, too, for exclusive access to stuff before anyone else!
Please reach out to me if you cannot find an answer to your question.
My children's books are about self-expression, self-identity, self-acceptance, friendship and non-traditional families.
There's also a cast of dragons, bats, birds, deer, raccoons, bears and bugs. Just because.
My YA one is a romance, and centers around overcoming stigma - societal, familial and internalised - as well as questioning religion, self-discovery, and overcoming inner demons.
As for the others... you'll have to check back later!
I enjoy writing for all of them, for different reasons.
I love writing for children because it allows me to put things in their simplest, purest form. Children are amazing at understanding the world around them, and they know so much more than we as adults usually give them credit for. So writing for them is great because it means I can just... write. I can write about a talking dragon who's raised by birds and bats, and children just go with it because yeah, of course that makes sense, why wouldn't it? Writing for children is extremely cathartic, because it lets me make things as simple or as abstract as I feel like, and they just... go with it.
I enjoy writing YA books because it lets me explore metaphors and imagery in different ways. YA and adult books both let me experiment with surrealism, and within these age groups I'm free to question things within society: religion, societal norms, sexuality, gender roles, toxic masculinity, misogyny, double-standards, ethics, linguistics and culture.
My next book will be my second YA novel. Its current working title is "Cerid'ay", and is set for release in 2025.
